When we moved onto Beechwood Ave. Jorge and Olga welcomed us with open arms. As our immediate neighbors, Gorge became another grandfather to my small children Sophie and Will. He was notorious for sharing his pearls of wisdom with me regularly as we talked across the fence or on the deck with Olga. Gorge was funny, hospitable and nonjudgmental always! Moving out of our house was only difficult because I knew the neighbors I would leave behind. Thank you Gorge for all of the memories and comfort you provided to us. Sophie has been praying to God each night that you show her sign that you are listening as she feels devastated by the loss of being able to see you. Sophie says she knows you’re listening Gorge because you are a shining star outside her window. I am sending love and prayers to all of you at this difficult time.
Olga,
I read with great sadness that Jorge had passed. Although words cannot console you, know that I understand your pain. I always enjoyed speaking with Jorge. He had a great sense of humor. Love and prayers to you and the family.

Dear, Ibanez-Delgado family Sgt Ibanez and I had very good conversations when I was under his command as a trooper I learned a lot from and always knew that he had my back no matter what the situation was. Much respect for a true gentleman . My thoughts and prayers go to your family for your loss.
Sincerely,
Stan Garrant
Dear Olga, Jorge was always friendly to me and when I sold my Ensign he moved it to the buyer upstate. He wanted to be supportive to the fleet. We had a beer together at your house and talked. I am sorry for your loss! Bob McKee
My deepest sympathy to Jorge’s family. There is no one who ever met Jorge who was not left with a positive experience . He was a man with Strong character , dependable and above all generous to everyone in deed and friendship .
