Dr. Puretz was a great teacher who I truly enjoyed taking his classes at DCC and later seeing him around campus when I coached baseball. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and may he rest in peace. Matt Veronesi

My condolences to the family of Dr. Puretz. His obituary sure speaks to what a special person he was and the life he had as a result. I knew him from DCC and was sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathy.

So very sorry to hear of Don's passing. I was a colleague of his fir many years at the College. He was always funny, always kind. Many of my advises were in his classes and he always had time for them and encouraging advice. My condolences to the family

Dr. Puretz was a great Health teacher. I took a Nutrition Course that he taught. One afternoon, he came in with a Coca Cola and a donut. He la7ghed , the students laughed. He was always running on the DCC campus or throughout the County. His son Henry was a great athlete in high school. The good Doctor lived a magnificent life . He will be missed. Prayers for his family.
