So sorry to hear this, Larissa. Mike and I use to hang together at IBM but lost touch In recent years. I’m sorry I couldn’t make his services but as you may know I’m still under the weather from lung surgery and don’t go out much. I can’t stop thinking of him and wish I had been in touch.
May God Bless him and you and his family. Peace be with you.

My deepest condolences to Larissa, her family and to Michael's family. I have the fondest of memories of time spent with Michael. The more I remember, the deeper my sadness at his loss. We met while employed at Harris Semiconductor in Poughkeepsie in the late 1970's. We shared many common interests including working on cars, electronics, and pets. A friendship ensued. Michael was one of the most selfless, positive and supportive friends I have ever had in my life and he was always beaming a smile. Michael helped me though some difficult times in my life and encouraged me to work out with him at the gym. After this I called Michael "coach" and I still have the workout schedule he created for me. We were always having BBQ's at my house on the Hudson in Highland and Michael always attended with his trustworthy dog "The Mighty Manfred" in tow. I always thought Michael and Manfred shared common characteristics as most pet owners do - they were both strong, powerful, and gentle. Michael had seemingly boundless energy and was an amazing entrepreneur: he always had sound advice regarding investments and real estate, I only wish I took more of his advice now. I was honored to be asked to speak at Larissa's and Michael's wedding. I deeply regret losing touch after moving to the West coast.
The world will be a lesser place without Michael.
Sincerely,
Straty
