Geider Family, I just learned of your loss and send my deepest sympathy. I met Eric about 7 years ago when he came back to work at IBM East Fishkill and we instantly became friends. Eric was a hard worker, fun to work with and we had many good laughs. I will miss our phone conversations and the emails we exchanged. God bless you all.

Janyce, Eric & Katie, I knew from our first Lamaze class that we would become lifelong friends even though our husbands almost got us kicked out!!! So many memories from that day forward...Lake George, family get togethers and so much more. I will never forget all the laughs we had and we will all miss Eric terribly. Our family has so many memories of good times with Eric. Dave and I are remembering numerous New Year’s Eve celebrations, times the guys took the kids trick or treating (mostly on the coldest or rainiest Halloween nights) and Mai Tais at Mill House Panda. My son, Alex, reminded me of having lunches together at Pizza Hut and after school treats of Italian ice or if Eric had his choice, Cafe Aurora milkshakes. We all remember our ski trips to Vermont with big breakfasts, late night card games and huge roasting fires ... Eric was in charge of the fire!
We will all miss Eric and very thankful that we had him in our lives.

Although I've been out of touch with Eric for about 10 years, I still have many fond memories of him. I remember him first from his time working behind the bar at a watering hole I frequented in Cold Spring. Mostly I remember him from the many years working on all the hi-tech equipment at IBM and the follow-up companies. Always having something to say, he was a very fun and entertaining person to chat with. RIP

We are so sorry for your loss. I have know Eric for close to 40 years, from days in the BAU line at IBM and NXP. Eric was a great guy, we had many great conversations about his beloved family and basset hounds. My husband loves golf and Eric got him involved in marshaling at the golf tournaments held in Westchester county, he also shared a few golf games with Eric. I was fortunate to have gone to college with Janyce which meant meeting and spending time with Eric! For over 40 years I have had the pleasure of sharing FUN times with Eric! Never was there a time where we weren't laughing!! I will miss Eric's laugh and love of life! Eric will forever be in my heart!

Eric has been almost a lifelong friend or for the last 35 or more years. Our children attended elementary school together but our friendship truly formed on our, once a month, Saturday night card games which in addition to Janyce & Eric, Lisa & Mitch Usavich; Alison & Dave Mateer; Lisa & Mike DeGraves; Mike & I. There were no subjects we did not cover but always with humor & grace. Eric loved to regale us all on his latest “lowest priced” purchase, no matter if he travelled several hundred miles to find it! We all loved him & our hearts are broken and we hope Janyce, young Eric & Katie know that no words or deeds could bring comfort to them; we are all here for you.
