Obituary of Sally White

Sally White, 86 of Salt Point, NY passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. Sally was born on July 21, 1934 in Bronxville, NY to the late Herbert and Helen Tobin Belknap. She married Raymond J. White on August 6, 1955 at Scarsdale Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and survives at home.

A local resident for 28 years, Sally previously resided in Eastchester, NY and attended Berkley Business School. She was a member of the Poughkeepsie Elks Club. Sally was a homemaker and loved to cook.

In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by her daughter Barbara (Brian) Robinson of Rye, NY and grandchildren, Max Robinson, Ian Robinson, Patricia Swayne and Andrew Swayne. She is predeceased by her daughter Marjorie Swayne who died in August, 2016.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral, Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 with a Funeral Service at 4:30pm during visitation. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
