Obituary of Clyde William Whaley

Clyde William Whaley died on January 17, 2021. Clyde was born on January 26, 1936, in Wareham Massachusetts, he was the son of Clyde F. and Winnie M. Whaley. Clyde worked as a Sears and Roebuck service man for over 35 plus years until his retirement. Clyde also worked many other professions including being a cab driver. Clyde was the father of 4 children. Clyde is survived by his wife Annette Whaley, they were married on April 20, 1956 and have been married for 65 years. Clyde is also survived by 3 children Clyde Clifford Whaley, Elizabeth Christine Whaley Avery and Michael Christopher Whaley, his 92-year-old sister Jean Mavrihes, one niece and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Clyde was residing at the Brookemeade Home in Rhinebeck with his wife at the time of his death. Clyde will be greatly missed by his family. He was a fun loving and easy-going man with a big heart. He loved his and had many pets. Clyde was a simple man who loved simple thing. Funeral services for Clyde will be held Wednesday May 5, 2021 10am at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Burial will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
