Obituary of Elsie Baker

Elsie M. Baker, 75, of LaGrange, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Wingate @ Ulster.  Born in Callas, Maine on January 21, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Winifred Paskins Hatt.  She married James "Ron" R. Baker on June 18, 1966 in Newburgh, NY and he survives her at home.  Elsie had worked as a bank teller for the Bank of New York and Chase Bank.  She was a member of the Freedom Plains Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed crafting and knitting.  In addition to her husband, Ron, Elsie is survived by her daughter Sharyn M. North and her husband Vrelin " Gordon"  of LaGrange and her grandchildren Sarah and David North.  Also surviving is her brother John Speidel of FL and several nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Timothy P.
