Obituary of Esther Mason

Esther Mason, 88, of Pleasant Valley, NY passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.  Born on July 26, 1932 in Dover Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthurs S. and Mildred Shafer Doland, Sr.  Esther had worked for IBM from 1950 to 1990.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and she enjoyed doing ceramics.  Esther married Robert Mason in 1975 at St. John's Lutheran Church and he predeceased her.  Esther is survived by her brothers, John Doland of N. Carolina, Harry Doland of Pleasant Valley and Quentin Doland of Pleasant Valley, NY.  In addition to her parents and husband, Esther was also predeceased by brothers Arthur S. Doland, Jr., Walter Doland, Franklin Doland, and Gene Doland, as well as his sister Zalen Parde.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Timothy P.
