Obituary of Elizabeth Betty Orr Hubbard

Elizabeth Betty Orr Hubbard, 93, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on March 18, 2021. She was born on October 12, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Robert and Mary (Huber) Orr.

She was a Home Maker and was 30 year Volunteer at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Betty was a local resident all of her life, she was a 4H Leader and a member of Lagrange Fire Department Station #2 Ladies Auxiliary and loved quilting.

She was the wife of Henry SW Hubbard, they were married on August 20, 1950 at Vassar Chapel.

Survivors include her son and daughter In-law Buddy and April Hubbard of Pleasant Valley New York, daughter and son in-law Betty and Steven Keene Stanfordville New York, four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Betty was predeceased by her brother Robert and Eugene Orr.

Betty's Graveside Services will be held March 23, 2021 at 12:30 PM from LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Interment will take place in LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
