Obituary of Hugo L. Fischer

Hugo L. Fischer, Jr., 77, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on July 26, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Hugo L. and Elfrieda (Kiesler) Fischer Sr..

Hugo was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.

He was a Electrician for IBEW 363 and was the Co-Owner of the Amber Lantern. Hugo also served in the United States Army in the 854 Division.

Hugo was a life member of the Rogers Point Boating Association and a life member of the John Livingstone American Legion Post 1466.

Hugo was also Past Commander of the John Livingstone American Legion Post 1466 and a Volunteer with the Fairview Fire Company.

Hugo loved to go camping and being outdoors.

Hugo was the husband of Edith C. Crudele they got married on October 13, 2001 in Poughkeepsie at theJohn Livingstone American Legion Post 1466.
Survivors include his spouse Edith Fischer of Poughkeepsie New York, his daughter Ann Martin of Pine Plains New York, his step-son Richard Miller and his wife Gail of Newburgh New York, his Twin Brother Carl Fisher of Poughkeepsie New York and his three granddaughters Lauren Martin, Jennifer Martin and Rachel Miller.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date and Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
