I’ll always remember Dan for his sense of humor and willingness to help me with ‘technical difficulties’ that I usually caused. Always such a kind soul. He became known to us at The Heart Center as ‘Dan the man’. He will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to Dan’s family and friends. May he Rest In Peace.

My great friend, Danny, passed away. When I lived by myself in an apartment, I used to eat canned beans, peanut butter, or canned tuna for meals until Danny taught me how to cook and he also bought me my first good pan and spatula. Danny cooked many meals for me and for the the people he loved. Some of my favorites he made were dishes made with venison and farm raised squashes. I remember him telling me that great Chefs only need one good knife. Danny also welcomed me in his home in NY several times. He took me on tours around Manhattan and to the top of the Empire State Building.
He had the best laugh and sense of humor. I'll never forget ordering Orange Duck for the first time and eating the hot chili that was meant for seasoning and his jaw about dropped to the floor and said to me that you weren't supposed to eat those. Yep. I'll never forget that moment. He spent so many times playing card games and board games at the dining room table with us. He celebrated holidays with my family. He cheered me on when I graduated with a teaching degree.
Danny also taught me how to play Parcheesi. It became my favorite board game since that time. Because of him, I taught my students to play. We also play Parcheesi every time my extended family comes over. If Danny hadn't taught me how to play that game, so many fun times would not have happened. He was so full of love and so full of fun.
He was my brother and he will be sorely missed.
I'll never forget his kindness or his love that he gave to me and especially to his wife, Lori. Danny, you were so loved!
Thank you for caring for me and for teaching me so many of the best lessons of life!
