Obituary of Ronald M. Roger Sr.

Ronald M. Roger Sr., 80, of Kingston, NY passed away on October 25, 2021 at Kingston City Hospital. He was born on April 11, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Ronald was a local resident all of his life. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp, was a member of the American Legion Lafeyette Post 37. Ronald was retire from Arnoff Moving and Storage were he worked as a driver for many years.

On March 12, 1967 Ronald married JoAnn Cussick in Poughkeepsie, New York, she survives at home.

Ronald is survived by his wife JoAnn Roger of Kingston New York, son Ronald M. Roger of Esopus New York, daughter Tammy Roger of Livingston New York, son Richard Roger of Livingston New York, daughter  and son inlaw Brenda and Brian VanDenberg Albany New York, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, two brothers David Roger of Wappingers Falls, New York, Stan Roger of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was predeceased by his son David Roger October 22, 2012 and his brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Military Honors will be held during visitation at 12:45 PM.
