Obituary of Mary Ann Manfredi

Mary Ann Manfredi, 85, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at home.  A lifelong resident, Mary was born in Poughkeepsie on September 1, 1936 to the late Joseph and Violet Tornatore Gullo.  Mary was the owner, along with her husband William R. Manfredi, Jr., of the William Manfredi Construction Corporation.  On October 21, 1956, she married William R. Manfredi, Jr., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and he predeceased her on February 6, 2017.  Mary was a beautiful woman, with a smile that everyone in contact with her loved, and will always be remembered with.  Mary always cared and loved her family first.  She enjoyed traveling with her friends.  She loved Las Vegas, Atlantic City and any gambling facility that would spike her attention.  She was a mainstay at church parish's weekly bingo which she would play upwards of 3 - 4 times a week!  Mom loved her 777 Slots and she was very lucky most of the time.  Mary also had a passion for Myrtle Beach.  She and the family would vacation there for over 30 years.  Bill and Mary even purchased a hotel, which they ran for over 3 years in Myrtle Beach.  Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Church and Wicks.  Mary is survived by her children and their spouses; William R. and Shari Manfredi of LaGrangeville, NY, Joseph and Robin Manfredi, Sr. of Poughkeepsie, NY and Parris and Keith Brokaw of Pleasant Valley, NY and her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Additionally she is survived by her brother, Sal Gullo of Hopewell Jct., NY.  The Family would like to thank Hospice for their care in her last few days.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 4:00-8:00pm at the Timothy P.
