Obituary of Richard C. Harris Jr

Richard C. Harris, Jr., of Pleasant Valley, NY passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021at the Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.  A lifelong resident, Richard was born on October 18, 1952, in Poughkeepsie to Richard C. and May Robitialle Harris. He was a graduate of John Jay High School.  Richard was the owner of R.C. Harris Plumbing and Heating for 37 years.  On March 10, 2006, he married Linda Stubbs and she survives him at home.  Richard was a member of the Rogers Point Boat Club and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pleasant Valley, which he was a Warden of.  He liked watching NASCAR.  In addition to his wife, Linda, Richard is survived by his children; son Joshua Harris of Wappingers Falls, son John Stubbs of Pleasant Valley,, son Brendan Harris (Shannon) of Fairfield, CT,, son Michael Harris (Pamela) of Pleasant Valley and Ricky Harris of Poughkeepsie daughter Stevi  Stubbs of Pleasant Valley. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Celina Stubbs, Brianna Harris, Patrick and Thomas Harris, Savannah Harris, Heather Harris, Mikenzie Harris and Alison Harris.  Richard is also survived by his sisters Shelley Piccone and Linda Peltier, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021from 5:00-8:00pm at the Timothy P.
