Obituary of Louise A. Marchetti

Louise A. Marchetti passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Louise was born in New Rochelle on March 24, 1932. She was the daughter of Raymond and Antoinette Bongo. She married Richard Marchetti, Sr. on November 9, 1952. They lived in Pelham, NY for 42 years. Richard and Louise moved to Poughkeepsie, NY in 2002. He predeceased her on November 12, 2019. Louise is survived by her children Linda DelBiondo, (son-in-law Steven DelBiondo, deceased), Richard Marchetti, Jr. (Peggy Marchetti daughter-in- law), Raymond Marchetti, deceased (daughter-in-law Lina Marchetti), and Robert Marchetti (daughter-in-law Anne Marchetti). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Louise will always be remembered for her love of her family. She was an avid golfer and bowler. She was involved with her local gym in the Silver Sneakers program and a participant in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Louise's name to Dutchess County Hospice. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Martin de Porres church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY.
