Obituary of Jason M. Stanton

Jason M. Stanton, 48, of Stanfordville, NY passed away on December 16, 2021. He was born on December 8, 1973 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Douglas J. and the late Victoria (Smith) Stanton.

Jason was a local resident all of his life. He was a 1993 graduate of Pine Plains High School and a graduate of BOCES small engine repair program.

On October 10, 1998 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Jason married Jennifer A. Oliva.

Jason was a Custodian for the Arlington Central School District.

Jason was a big Chicago Bears fan, he liked anything that had to do with Star Wars, he was a big WWE fan but most important to him was being with his boys.
Survivors include his spouse Jennifer Oliva-Stanton of Stanfordville New York, son Jason M. "LJ" Stanton Jr. of Stanfordville New York, son Jack D. " Jack Jack" Stanton of Stanfordville New York, step-mother Gail Stanton of Clinton Corners New York, brother Douglas J. Stanton Jr. and his wife Deborah of Staatsburg New York, brother Philip Stanton of Derby New York and several nieces and nephews.

On August 17, 2016 Part of Jason's heart went to Heaven with his best friend his Dad.

The family would like to thank Hudson Valley Hospice (Shannon Johns and Nicole Balles) for their compassion and care given to Jason during his illness.

As per Jason's request services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
