Obituary of James McKeon

James G McKeon, 79, of Pleasant Valley, New York, passed away in his home on December 26, 2021.  James was born in the Bronx on April 14, 1942. He was the son of Bernard and Florence McKEON. James served his country in the United States Navy. He has been a local resident since 1980 previously of the Bronx. James was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Linda C McKeon, and he missed her dearly since her passing in 2012. James was a manager for New York telephone for 30 years before retiring in 1994.  James was loved by many, and known best for his great sense of humor. The most important part of James’ life was being with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Suzanne Etheridge and her husband Richard of Sunbury, NC, Chris McKeon and his wife Maria of Poughkeepsie, NY, grandchildren Taylor, Sara, Russell, Hunter, James, Chris Jr, and Frank.
