Obituary of Jean Pierantozzi

Jean D. Pierantozzi, 93 of Poughkeepsie, NY died at home on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Jean was born on June 14, 1928 to the late James Vincent Catalano and Edith Gesondi Catalano. On November 28, 1948 she married Charles D. Pierantozzi. He predeceased her on August 7, 2008. A local resident all of her life, Jean was the co-owner of Hopewell Sporting Goods as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker. A devoted wife and mother, Jean was a member of Holy Trinity Church as well as a Eucharistic Minister.

Survivors include sons Michael J. (Debra) Pierantozzi of Horntown, VA, Thomas J. (Christina S.) Pierantozzi of Hyde Park, NY, daughters Lisa J. (Brian) Kerrigan of Cary, NC, Christine A. (Jeffrey) Walraven of Poughkeepsie, NY, sister-in-law Josephine Catalano of Kingston, NY, grandchildren Carri (Raymond) Young, Matthew Pierantozzi, Janine Pierantozzi (Rahul Rastogi), Rachel (Joshua) Hontz, Michael, Stephanie, Brianna, and Alissa Kerrigan, Nicholas and Kristin Pierantozzi, Daniel (Jillian) Walraven, Kyle Walraven (Janet Evarts), Connor (Maddie) Walraven, Aidan Walraven, great grandchildren Macayla and Mason Young and Rhiannon Walraven. Jean is predeceased by her son Charles E. Pierantozzi, brothers Edward and James Catalano, sisters Violet Budai, Marian Troiano, Gloria Dubraski, Joyce Richards, and Janet Borg.

Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
