Obituary of Joyce Dunlavey

Joyce Dunlavey, 90, of New Paltz, previously of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Monday February 21, 2022 at the New Paltz Center of Rehab.  Born May 29, 1931 in Poughkeepsie she was the daughter of Leroy Knickerbocker and Josephine Roosa.

On November 24, 1951 she married Paul E Dunlavey and had 32 happy years together until his death in 1983.

Survivors include her daughter Kathleen (Peter) Riisenberg, Modena NY, son Brian Dunlavey, Tennessee, sister Carol Duclos, Pleasant Valley NY, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family can call at the Timothy Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie NY on Monday February 28, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm.  Burial will be at a later date at LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, New York.
