Mollie was remarkable. Every Christmas I could count on a lovely letter to my-mother, Helen Murphy Quattrone and myself. Mother and the Birminghams were more like siblings than cousins, so naturally Mollie was just one of the kids. Mother passed away in May 2021 a month before her 100th birthday. She and Mollie had that same absolute love of life, a vitality that never changed. Loving and warm and caring for everyone, including their pets. I will-miss Mollie’s letters and the sound of her voice. Mary Quattrone Kerns
