Obituary of John Oakley Jr.

John C. Oakley, Jr., 62 of Pleasant Valley, NY passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. John was born on February 28, 1959 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late John C. and Florence Decker Oakley, Sr. He married Colleen G. Deyo on July 5, 1997 in Poughkeepsie, NY and survives at home.

A local resident all his life, John graduated from Arlington High School and was self employed with Oakley Painters. John was a hard working man who loved his family, his dogs and classic cars. John was also very loved by all those who knew him.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons John C. Oakley, III of Pleasant Valley, NY, Brandon (Evangline) Oakley of Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter Jessica Oakley of Pleasant Valley, NY, 5 grandchildren, sisters, Jackie Hutchings of Pleasant Valley, NY and Debra Rossback of Fl.
