Obituary of Maria Louise Biro

Maria Louise Biro, 57, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on May 28, 2022. She was born on June 15, 1964, in Tarrytown, New York to the late Joseph and Arlene (Ludwig) Primerano Sr..

Maria was a Retired Bus Driver for Wappingers Central School District and was also a retired Animal Control Officer for the Town of Mount Pleasant. Maria was a graduate of Valhalla High School class of 1982. Maria was a volunteer for the Valhalla Ambulance Corp. She loved to do puzzles, Fish, do diamond art, loved to garden and spend time outside. The most important part of her life was spending time with her grandkids.

Maria was the wife of Ronald Biro they were married December 20, 1990, in Tarrytown.

Survivors include spouse Ronald Biro, son Ronald and his daughter in-law Lucretia Loconte Biro Jr., daughter Monica Biro, sister Linda Horalek, brothers Joseph Primerano Jr., David Primerano and her grandchildren Charlotte Powell and Peyton Suter. 

Maria was predeceased by her father Joseph, daughter Tanya Guziczek and her aunt Frances Bowder.

Friends may call on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM from St. Mary Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY.

Interment will take place in Hopewell Cemetery, NY.
