Obituary of Kristine Morgan

Kristine Morgan, 51, of Clinton Corners, NY passed away on June 3, 2022  at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Kristine was born January 16, 1971 in Flushing, Queens, New York to Kal and Linda Ibrahim. She graduated from Ketcham High School and went on to study at SUNY Albany and Marist College. Kristine was an English teacher at the Poughkeepsie Middle School for 17 years. Her favorite novel to teach was “To Kill a Mockingbird.”  
In her youth, Kristine was ever the avid sportswoman, whether playing baseball alongside the boys--often out performing them--or playing tennis, her true passion and gift.  She spent as much time outdoors as possible, whether going to the beach, camping, or appreciating live music.  Kristine loved trying new recipes and entertaining the family during the holiday season.  Always the first to greet a newcomer, she had an easy way and was a friend to all.

She married her husband, Ronald Morgan, on June 10, 2000 who predeceased her on July 31, 2016.  In addition to her parents, Kristine is survived by her beloved daughter, Maryn Morgan, and her siblings, Carla Zappone and her husband Skip, Thamer Ibrahim, his wife Dina, niece Daniah and three nephews Laith, Rayan, and Feras, and Farris Ibrahim and his wife Jill.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 20, 2022 from 4 to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, NY.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for notes of your favorite memories of Kristine to be sent to Maryn Morgan, PO Box 661, 71 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
