Obituary of Willie Faye Alexander

Willie Faye Alexander, 81, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on June 18, 2022. She was born on September 25, 1940, in Arlington, Georgia to the late Pallie White and the late Lillie Bell White.
 

She retired from Fargo MFG in Poughkeepsie in 1974. Willie Faye moved to Poughkeepsie, New York from Arlington, Georgia in 1964. Willie Faye was a former member of the Second Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie, New York.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Willie Faye was also an accomplished beautician who loved doing hair for many people in the community.

On June 27, 1970, in Poughkeepsie, Willie Faye was married to James Alexander who predeceased her on January 22, 2022.

Survivors include daughter Cassandra Clarke, son Tony Alexander, and son Gregory Alexander all of Poughkeepsie, New York; grandchildren Anthony Raymel Byrd, Amir Crenshaw-Alexander, and Damari Clarke; great grandchildren Faye Byrd, Mattie Byrd, and Rayyan Akbar-Byrd; brothers Jimmy White, Roy White, Joe White all of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters Doris Milledge of Albany, Georgia, Gladys Southern and Annie Ruth Wade both of Atlanta, Georgia.

Willie Faye was predeceased by her brothers Billy White, John White, and Isaac White.

Her Funeral Services will be held June 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

Internment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
