Obituary of Mary Ann Fennell
Mary Ann Fennell, 91 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Mary Ann was born in Staten Island, NY on December 12, 1930 to the late John and Nora Delaney Anglin. She married Harry W. Fennell on February 5, 1955 at St. Peter's Church in Staten Island, NY. He predeceased her on September 9, 1998. A local resident for over 66 years, Mary Ann worked several years in banking on Wall Street in NYC then at Sears Roebuck & Company in Poughkeepsie, NY prior to her retirement in 1991.
Mary Ann was a member of the Antique Club and a church member of St. Mary's in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was an avid NY Met baseball and Notre Dame football fan. Mary Ann loved reading, watching movies and making dinner for family and friends. She was a kind and loving person who enjoyed a good laugh. Survivors include her daughters Colleen Fennell-Gordon and her husband Charles of Lake George, NY, Robin Fennell of Poughkeepsie, NY, grandson Colin Gordon and partner Stephanie Langlais of Waterford, NY, granddaughter Cailin Gordon of Lake George, NY, sister-in-law Doris Anglin of Allentown, NJ, niece Maureen DeLeo and her husband Al of Staten Island, NY, nephews Kevin Mulvey and his wife Arlene of Texas, Steven Mulvey and his wife Mary of NJ, dear friend Elizabeth Martin of Poughkeepsie, NY and several grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Ann is predeceased by her brother John Anglin and nephew Jack Anglin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 Church Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.
