Obituary of James D. Manning

James D. Manning, 78, of Hyde Park, NY passed away on September 28, 2022. He was born on March 7, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, New York to  John and Gladys Garcia Manning

In July of 2004 Jim married Annette MacIsaac she predeceased him in October of 2020.

Jim was a milkman in his younger years, working for Fitchett Bros Dairy, before becoming self employed as owner/operator of Kingston Seamless Gutters. In his free time, he liked to travel and enjoyed the entertainment of Casinos. 

He was an avid sports fan, NY Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Jim was also a animal lover, he had many dogs and always had a soft spot for cats.

He enjoyed a round of golf every now and then with his friends.

James is survived by his three children his daughter Joann Rosso and husband James of Milford, PA, daughter Patricia Mathis her husband Will of Clintondale,NY, son James D. Manning of Clintondale, NY and his sister Lorraine Catanzaro of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jim was predeceased by his parents John (Jack) Manning and Gladys (Garcia) Manning, his wife Annette and sister Barbara Steeves.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday October 5, 2022 from 6om to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
