Obituary of Janet M. Cook

Janet M. Cook, 83, of Hillsdale, NY passed away on December 9, 2022. She was born on August 4, 1939, in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Edward and the late Helen (Bloomer) Key.

She was the Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Janet was local resident of Copake Lake for the last 20 years and was previously from Poughkeepsie.

She was the wife of Thomas Cook they were married in 1958 at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Survivors include spouse Thomas Cook Copake Lake New York, son Darren Cook Copake Lake New York, granddaughter Amanda Cook, and grandson Brandon Cook. Janet was predeceased by her son Craig in 2004.

Her Funeral Service will be held December 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM from Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

Interment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
