Obituary of Joseph A. Antenucci

Joseph A. Antenucci, 66, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on December 24, 2022. He was born on December 28, 1955, in Poughkeepsie, New York to Joseph A. and the late Jeanette (Lucci) Antenucci.

Joseph worked in many fields he was a Pool Installer at Holiday Pools and worked at Pawling Rubber, Perretta Graphics, and IBM.

Joseph was a local resident all of his life. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie and a graduate of Arlington High School.

Joe loved fishing with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He especially enjoyed playing baseball, softball, hockey, and cards with his buddies on the weekend. Joe enjoyed working with his friends Bob, Gary, and brother Steve at Holiday Pools where he worked until the end.  He was the copilot on many trips to South Carolina with his brother Tony and friend Jack.  He also loved antiques and would work on restoration projects with his son and friend Chris.  Joe always had time for friends and family; his antics and endless stories brought joy to everyone he was around.  He was a beloved Pop Pop to Ava and Grant and spent most of his free time making memories with them.  Joe was one of a kind, found joy in the little things, and had a laugh that will not be forgotten.  

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Brianna Antenucci-Wiltse Beaver Dam Wisconsin, daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Brenden Kohlmaier, grandchildren Ava and Grant Pleasant Valley New York, Daughters Tanya and Kyla, brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Mary Antenucci Poughkeepsie New York, brother Steven Antenucci Poughkeepsie New York, sister Debbie Cady Hyde Park New York, sister Christine Harrison Hyde Park, New York.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022, 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY.
