Obituary of Theresa T. Chianelli

Theresa T. Chianelli, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 9, 2023. Theresa was born on October 17, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY to Rose Liguori and Joseph Giammarino. She has been a resident of Poughkeepsie, NY since 1948. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband Alfred of 51 years, her dear sister Mary Sala and brother Ralph Giammarino.

Theresa was beloved by a large and loving family. She was always surrounded by much love and laughter. She is survived by sons, Robert Chianelli and wife Marge Chianelli, Richard Chianelli and wife Debbie Chianelli, daughters Lisa Graziano and husband Peter Graziano, Gail Lamby and husband Steve Lamby. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Entombment is to follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie, NY.
