Obituary of Jean Reardon

Jean Ann Reardon, age 81, of LaGrange, NY passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday, January 20, 2023 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Bronxville, NY on April 27, 1941 and was the only daughter of the late Lawrence R. Gallo and Felica Giusti Gallo. She was proud to be born on the same day as her grandmother, Gina Giusti. She was a graduate of White Plains High School, class of 1959 and the Katherine Gibbs School. She was a
secretary for the White Plains Police Department before her marriage to John Reardon on July 31, 1966 at Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in White Plains, NY. She is survived at home by her husband John, a daughter Kareen (Matthew) Klettke of Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter Allison (Edward) Stroh of Wappingers Falls, NY, a son Jonathan Reardon of Poughkeepsie, NY and a son Christopher (Tania) Reardon of LaGrange, NY. In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Klettke, Kirsten Klettke, Noah Klettke, and Amanda Klettke all of Niagara Falls, NY, Logan Reardon and Miranda Reardon of LaGrange, NY and Tristen Stroh of Wappingers Falls, NY. She is survived by her brothers, Lawrence (Kathy) Gallo of Elmsford, NY and Richard (Karen) Gallo of Wilmington, NC, two nephews Lawrence Gallo III and Joseph Gallo and a niece, Dana Lynn Gallo. In addition to many cousins and extended family. Special thanks are given to Beth Craft, Jean’s private nurse for 5 years, who provided Jean with medical care and unconditional love throughout her illness and for which the entire Reardon family will be forever grateful. Visitation at Timothy Doyle Funeral Home, Poughkeepsie NY on Wednesday January 25, 2023 from 4 -8 PM. Mass of Christian burial at Holy Trinity Church at 10am, Poughkeepsie, NY on Thursday, January 26, 2023.Private interment will be at Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
