I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. I grew up with his family in the Bronx, and can remember the day that Paul was born. RIP sweet man

Hey Dad, it's only been a few days but I miss you much more than words can possibly show. I know that so many others feel the exact same way, and for each and every one of us it will be a true test of our strength to smile every single day knowing that you're no longer here with us.
The memories constantly flood in, from the dozens of times that we would do bumper boats at fun central, to the crazy nights of eating Chinese food and watching Wrestling. I'll never forget our band we created called BB and the Flemtones. I remember growing up and watching you play the drums. You had a talent that very few people could ever have, and I think that only about a million or so people have ever heard me talk about how my dad was the best drummer in the world.
So many friends and family members came to see you and celebrate you for everything that you were, and wow there was so much to who Paul Angelo Rizzi was. Your smile and laughter could fill an entire room with happiness Dad, when I close my eyes I can still hear it. I can tell you from all of us, that we are so happy you are at peace now.
You were a fighter, a friend, a gentle soul, and also a warrior. Even more, you were a dad and a brother. But most of all, you were just YOU. I promise you will never be forgotten. I promise that Greyson will know all of the good that you ever had in your heart.
I promise to one day see you again. Until then, watch over Uncle Fred and Melissa.
You mean more to us all than you will ever know.
I love you Dad,
- Angelo

The first time I met Paul was at a dinner gathering I was having following my brother's wake. Nancy and Paul had just gotten engaged, and me being Nancy's BFF had to naturally give him the once over and my catholic blessing to marry her. I put this poor guy through the wringer with all of my questions. I felt so sorry for him, but I admit it was fun. Well I thought he would hate me for life, but our relationship grew into a forever friendship. Paul was an amazing and loving man. He made Nancy so happy, and I am so thankful for that. Nancy is an amazing woman who deserves nothing but the best in life, and Paul was certainly the best. The one thing I will always be astounded by is how Paul dealt with his illness with nothing but strength and optimism. He fought everyday until his last breath. Paul, you were such a warrior and inspiration to us all! I will miss our talks on the phone especially during football season when we compared our teams and rooted for each other. Paul was funny, super friendly, and a hard worker. He was truly a gift from God and I will miss him dearly. RIP Paul you are truly loved.
