Obituary of Rose Elizabeth Krukiel

Rose Elizabeth Krukiel, 97, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on April 15, 2023. She was born on July 8, 1925, in the Bronx, New York to the late Peter and the late Honorata (Staniszewska) Jurkiewicz.

She was a Printer for Hanover Bank in New York City, retiring in 1961.

Rose was a local resident most of her life and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie

She was the wife of Matthew Anthony Krukiel they were married on October 3, 1953, in the Bronx. Matthew predeceased her on December 18, 1979.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and she was predeceased by her two sister's Genevieve Starzyk and Julia Zabawski.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 24, 2023, at 10:00 AM from St. Joseph's Church, 9 Lafayette Place, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
