Obituary of Ronald Beatty

Ronald Eugene Beatty, 74, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on May 4, 2023. He was born on July 30, 1948, in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late John and the late Edna (Simmons) Beatty. 

He was a plumber by trade and early in his career worked for Poughkeepsie Plumbing Supply.

Survivors include his children and their spouses Gabrielle (Dingee) & John Smith of Poughkeepsie, NY, Ronald Jr. and Julie of Scotland, John & Deborah of Leesburg,Florida, and Grandchildren Travis and Austin Dingee & Paige Beatty. 

He is also survived by his longtime companion Shirley Thomas & his sister Joan Meyer. 

Ron is pre-deceased by his Second wife Clara; Brothers Lawrence Minckler, Melvin Minckler, Harris ‘Duke’ Minckler, Kenneth Beatty, John Beatty. Sisters Patricia Minckler, Edna Beatty& Barbara Simmons. 

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 4-8 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York. 

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the Family.
