Obituary of Inez Cantamessa

Inez M. Cantamessa, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 94. Inez was born in Bronx, NY on September 15, 1928 to Joseph and Lena Gazzetti. She married John Cantamessa on April 25, 1953. Inez worked for the New York City Board of Education. Inez loved spending time at the beach, which included many summers at the Jersey Shore and summers at her beach club in the Bronx, Ny. Inez loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as cooking for the entire family. She is predeceased by her husband John Cantamessa on April 8, 1996, and son Mark Cantamessa November 17,1997. She is survived by her son John and wife Debra Cantamessa, her daughter Lisa and husband Joseph Napolitano, as well as grandchildren Nina and Patricia Cantamessa, Lauren Sulewska, and John Napolitano, and great grandchildren Angelo Johnson, Sophia Sulewska, Roman Suleewski and Thomas Joesph Rozzi lll. Visitation will be held May 26, 2023 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie Ny, 12603. Service will begin at 12:00 following visitation. Entombment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery at 1:00pm following the Service.
