I'm so sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. I worked with Eileen for many years at Dutchess BOCES Special Education. When BOCES still had it's Pre-School program, she truly loved working with the little ones. When the Pre-School program was eliminated, she adapted to her new classroom environments effortlessly and took a genuine interest in all of her students, and her students knew she really cared about them. She was just a special person whom both staff and students loved. I'm sure after she retired from BOCES, she was greatly missed by both staff and students. Thank you for those kind words. My mom really loved her students and it brought her great joy to teach them. It makes me very proud when I think of how many lives my mom had a positive impact on.

Eileen was a wonderful woman, and we had the pleasure of knowing her when she was a one on one for my son Anthony Collignon. They spent countless hours together, and ANTHONY loved her very much and learned so much from her. She will always be remembered, and have a special place in our hearts. Thank you. She loved Anthony as well. She spoke often of him with great pride. She also received the card he sent her and it meant a lot to my mom and our family. God bless Anthony and your family.
