Obituary of Deborah Faye Ford-Cutchin

Deborah Faye Ford-Cutchin, 63, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on June 6, 2023, at Vassar Brothers
Medical Center. She was born on October 20, 1959, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Lester and the
late Bernadine (King) Ford.
Deborah grew up in South Jamaica Queens, NY, and also resided in Houston Texas. She had been a local
a resident of Poughkeepsie since 1978.
She worked as a CNA at Vassar Warner Home and Wassaic. Deborah also previously worked for the
United States Post Office.
Deborah loved to read, play cards, working on puzzles, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and
family. She exuded light and kindness to everyone around her.
Survivors include husband James Earl Cutchin of Poughkeepsie New York sons Taryll Cutchin, Adam
Cutchin and Jhavaun Cutchin of Poughkeepsie New York, daughters LeTessa Cutchin and KaTia Cutchin
of Poughkeepsie New York, grandchildren Shai Cutchin, Ki'Mar Davis, Ariana Small and Amasinheis
Santos of Poughkeepsie New York, sister Catherine Eason of Houston Texas, brother Marvin Alexander
(Claudia) of Utah, brother Rason Ford of Allen Town Pennsylvania, sister Lestesha Ford of Lake Charles
Louisiana and brother Larry Ellis of Charlotte North Carolina, special friends Earlene Brown of Durham
NC, Kimsha McFarlane, Shawnda Horton, Charlene Stroman of Poughkeepsie New York and host of
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, son GuSean Cutchin, brothers Larry, Freddie, and David Ford, and
sister Gussie Bailey.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Timothy P.
Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
Funeral Services will follow the Celebration of life 1:00 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience
of the family.
