Obituary of Elizabeth Ollis

Elizabeth A. Ollis, 80 passed away Monday night June 12, 2023, at Vassar Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late Barry Ollis, the loving mother of her son, Gerard Ollis, and the cherished daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Mayni. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, brother John Mayni (Grace), and sisters, Terry Lynch,(the late Richard) Bernadette  Hashtak(John), and Margaret Bendzsuk (John). Elizabeth worked at Lagrange Library for many years.  She was very devout in her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Peters Parish.  She also cantered at the Catholic Church in Mt. Alvernia for many years.  Visitation will be held June 20, 2023 at the Doyle Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 and a funeral mass will be held June 21, 2023 at 945 a.m. of St. Peters Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Rosary. She will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum at St. Peters Cemetery.   Elizabeth will be remembered for her gentle manner, warm smile, strong Catholic faith and love of family, and will be missed by all.
