Obituary of Angelo A. Palmiotti

Angelo A. Palmiotti, a longtime resident of West Park, NY, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 15, 2023. Angelo was predeceased by his wife Beulah Palmiotti and son Arthur Palmiotti. He is survived by two sons, three daughters-in-laws, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Born in Queens, New York in 1930, Angelo lived in Brooklyn surrounded by his extended family until moving to West Park full-time in 1971. The house in West Park was quite rundown when he moved in but years of family work and rebuilding turned the old house on the hill into a place where family gathered and friends would regularly show-up for coffee and conversation. There was always a welcome and a treat in Buddy’s kitchen.

Angelo spent his last few years at Country Meadows in Allentown, Pennsylvania near his son Andrew’s home. There will be a viewing and short service July 25, 2023 from 10am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York. Burial will follow at the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
