Obituary of Richard G. Maier

Richard grew up in Poughkeepsie and went to Arlington schools He was a member of the Poughkeepsie Elks and he tended bar there and belonged to the dart league. He worked at Traprock/Tilcon over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator. When he moved to PA he worked at Amazon as a fork lift operator. He belonged to a pool league in the community that he and his wife Dawn settled in. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Dorothy Maier. He is survived by his Wife Dawn his daughter Kateri his stepdaughter Siobhan his grandchildren Austin Shalah Mekena Qualters Siobhan's fiancée Chris Euke his in laws Richard and Judy Long his sister in law Joan Stolz Dawns sister and sister in law De and Denise Vaccarr-Long. Richard will be remembered by many and was loved by all. He will be missed deeply .
