Obituary of Margaretha Pijnappel

Margaretha Pijnappel, 104, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on October 11, 2023. She was born on October 16, 1918, in Wormerveer Netherlands. She was the daughter of the late Coendert and the late Gourtje Venes Huet.
She has been a local resident since 1956 previously from Holland.

Margaretha was an RN in Holland with a special application in birthing.

Margaretha was a member of St. Martin DePorres Church.

On May 16, 1956, Margaretha married Albert H. Pijnappel in Liberty New York. Albert predeceased her on September 18, 2019.

Margareth is survived by her son John A. Pijnappel of Lagrange, NY., her granddaughter Kimberley Ann Pijnappel of Shandaken, NY., and her grandchild Christian Seuola. 

Margaretha was predeceased by her two grandsons Corey, Owen and her two brothers and one sister.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 10am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave Poughkeepsie, New York 12603 with Funeral Services to follow at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Community Mausoleum Poughkeepsie NY.
Interment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
