Our friendship began when I was just 20 years old and went to work for Freeman. I should have known it would be a lifetime friendship when he decided to take to me, and my friends, to 21 bars for my 21st birthday. As you all know, he loved to have a good time. Needless to say, this kid couldn't keep up and we only made it to a few. A memorable evening for sure.
Freeman was intelligent, talented, kind, compassionate, and he gave the best hugs. It's been 34 years of friendship and I'm going to miss our talks, his advise and that mischievous laugh. May you Rest In Peace.

I have known Freeman for over 34+ years; Jack, Richie - we had a blast. We always remained in touch through the years, and when I saw him at Lutheran - though sad to see him there - it was like time stood still. We picked up where we left off; he was always my “buddy”. I cannot begin to express the surprise and sadness I felt when I saw his name listed. Free touched so many lives, and I am honored to say he was my friend. He is up there with his buddies - getting into all kinds of trouble. My condolences to his family. Thank you Freeman for being in my life. Until we meet again my friend.
