Obituary of Robert A. Nelson

Robert Allen Nelson, aged 87, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023, at his home. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, on September 28, 1936, Robert was the loving son of Robert and Avis Nelson. He graduated with his high school diploma and went on to serve his country in the US Army, where he distinguished himself and was honorably discharged. Robert made a significant impact on his community as a self-employed president of Station Brite INC, where he led with dedication and innovation. His hard work and commitment were deeply admired by his colleagues and clients alike. Outside of his professional life, Robert shared a profound love and devotion for his family. On April 1, 1956, he married his beloved wife, June Fowler, who brought immeasurable joy and happiness to his life. Their enduring partnership was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Robert will be fondly remembered for his kind and compassionate nature, his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, and his commitment to his country and community. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. Robert Nelson is survived by his wife June Nelson, Daughter Nadine Rorden, Son Barry Nelson and wife Trish along with Daughter-in-law Carol Nelson. He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren including Nathan Gronlund, Nina Dubois, Miranda Oskuarek, Kyle Nelson and wife Leah, Cody Nelson, Alex Nelson and wife Kristen. Along with several great grandchildren Oscar Dubois, Braden and Bryce Nelson, Casey Nelson-Stamoulis, Rosie Stamoulis, Quinn Nelson along with Hermione, and Graves.
