Obituary of Michael W. Fink

Michael W. Fink, 63, of Lake George, NY passed away on November 21, 2023, at his sister’s home in Pleasant Valley after a short battle with cancer.

He was born on January 21, 1960, in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Joseph and the late Marcella (Valance) Fink.

Mike was a United States Army Veteran and was also in the Army Reserves.

He was a firefighter for the City of Poughkeepsie and the Town of Greenburg from 1991 to 2002.

Mike's last years were spent living between Hawaii and the Adirondacks. He was an avid outdoorsman always enjoying recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, camping, biking along with much more. He also enjoyed the art of cooking. Was a licensed taxidermist and was skilled in making golf clubs.

His memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and his many friends.

Mike is survived by his sister Linda Aiello Hyde Park New York, Sister and Brother In-law Marialice and Bill Conklin Pleasant Valley New York, Nieces Michelle Ciferri, Melissa Tesh, Renee Orsatti, Several Great and Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Mike was predeceased by his brother Joey Fink (1976) and nephew David Conklin (1994)

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Funeral Services will follow at 6:30 PM.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
