Obituary of Michael A. Grant

Michael A. Grant, 63, of Bronx, NY passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born on January 12, 1960, in Montego Bay, Jamaica to the late Isaac and the late Beryl (Strawn) Grant.

He was a Chef for Jackies West Indian Bakery in Bronx, NY. Michael was a resident previously from Jamaica.

Michael loved cooking, baking, and music.

Survivors include his children Adrian Grant of the Bronx, Conroy Grant and his wife Pauline of Jamaica, Elizabeth Williams and her husband Jermaine of Poughkeepsie, Brandon Grant of Jamaica, Marveley Grant of Jamaica, Isaac Grant of Bronx, Samantha Grant of the Bronx, sisters Gloria Grant, Erica Grant, Merlene Mclarren, brothers Adam Grant, Joel Grant, Delton “Jack” Grant and 16 grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

His Funeral Services will be held January 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Interment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
