Obituary of Kathryn T Leete

Kathryn T. Leete, 87, of Elizaville, New York passed away on January 20, 2024, at The Renaissance Nursing Care Center.

She was born September 3, 1936, to the late James and Emma Canora, in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Kathryn was a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley, working as a medical coordinator at St. Francis Hospital, eventually retiring in 1998.

 As a member of St. Mary’s Church in Poughkeepsie, Kathryn was an avid reader and loved watching movies.

She is survived by her Children William and Lydia Leete of Elizaville, NY, Jeffrey Leete and his companion Kerry Schneider of New Paltz, NY, Steven and Jill Leete of Hyde Park, NY, and Allan and Rose Leete of Wellington Florida, Along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James and Deena Canora of New Paltz, N.Y.

Kathryn was preceded by her late son James Leete.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, New York, 12601. Christian funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm in the funeral home.
