Obituary of Kenneth R. O'Loughlin
Kenneth Ryan O'Loughlin, 33, of Glens Falls, NY passed away on January 28, 2024 from a cardiac seizure. He was born on April 14, 1990, in Mount Kisco, New York to Kenneth F. and Colleen A. (Gibson) O'Loughlin. Kenny was a resident of the Glens Falls area for the last ten years, previously from Poughkeepsie.
He was a graduate of Ketcham High School and was a member of St. Martin dePorres Church.
Kenny was a proud Sheet Metal Worker for Local 83. He loved spending time with his family and friends, going camping, and being outdoors, but his greatest joy came from the time spent with his two daughters, Elliana and Kinsley. They would always ride bikes, take walks for ice cream and play at the park.
Survivors include his beautiful daughters, Ellianna and Kinsley O'Loughlin of Glens Falls New York, his father and mother Kenneth and Colleen O'Loughlin of Poughkeepsie New York, sister and brother in-law Kiera and Adam Hannon of Poughkeepsie New York, sister and brother in-law Caitlin and George Wright Mohegan Lake New York, his grandfather Kenneth J. O'Loughlin Rhinebeck New York, nephews Declan Wright and Klyde Hannon, and niece Sloane Wright. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Kenny had the biggest and softest heart. He was smart, kind and funny, and he was generous in every way- be it with his time, helping anyone who needed it, or giving you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He always worked hard and wanted nothing more than to be a good father and provider for his girls. Kenny was loved by so many and will be forever missed by those who knew him.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held February 5, 2024 at 9:30 AM from St. Martin De Porres, 118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY. Interment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider donating to a fund for his daughters. They were his entire world.
