Obituary of Irma Gene Calio

Irma Gene Calio 87 passed away on March 4, 2024 in Poughkeepsie.
Born in Utica, NY on November 6, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Irma Marcellus Watson.
On June 28, 1968 she married Joseph P. Calio.
Irma Gene worked for the NY Telephone Company, IBM and was the owner of Yogurt Plus on the Main Mall in Poughkeepsie.
Irma Gene was a watercolorist and member of the D.C. Art Association and the IBM Art Club.
She was a member of Victory Lodge of the Italian Center.
Irma is survived by her son In-law Richard Versace, grandchildren Shannon Decker(Keith), Ayriel Versace, Kyle Versace(Terri) and Jorrell Versace(Sarah), great-grandchildren Matthew Decker, Alivia Decker, Alyssa Versace, Bre-ann Versace, , Brain Lee, Justin Versace, Siearah Versace and Erick Versace.
Irma Gene was predeceased by her husband Joseph, daughter Karen Versace and son Dale P. Calio.
A Mass will be held 10am Friday March 8th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
