Obituary of Alice M Colgan

Alice M. Colgan, 73, passed away on March 6, 2024 in Rhinebeck, New York. She was born in Brooklyn on April 29,1950, to Joseph D. and Catherine P. Colgan.

Alice joined the Air Force after high school, and then went on to be a nurse at New York University in Manhattan, New York.

In her spare time Alice enjoyed watching crime stories and also had a great interest in UFOs along with extraterrestrial encounters, most of all Alice loved spending time with her nieces and nephews going on amazing fun capers!

Although never married Alice leaves behind brothers and sisters that will miss her dearly, Joseph Colgan of Troy, NY., Mary Colgan of Brooklyn, NY., Thomas and Ellen Colgan of Staatsburg, NY., Edward and Barbara Hackett Salt Point, NY., Terence Hackett of Millerton, NY, Nora Hackett of Salt Point, NY., along with many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins.

Alice was predeceased by her fathers Joseph D. Colgan and Edward Hackett, mother Catherine P. Hackett, brother John F. Colgan and sister in-law Heather Hackett.

Calling hours will be held on March 18, 2024 from 2PM until 6PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, New York, 12603.
