In memory of Valentine Webb, we gather today to honor a life well-lived, a life marked by love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those around him. Bro Webb was more than just a husband, a father/ grandfather/ father in law, an elder and a friend; he was a beacon of warmth and kindness in our community, a pillar of strength whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him.
As a husband, Bro Val exemplified the true meaning of partnership and devotion. His love for his spouse was evident in every word spoken, every gesture made. Together, they shared a bond that transcended the ordinary, a bond built on mutual respect, trust, and a deep understanding of one another.
As a father, Valentine's love knew no bounds. He poured his heart and soul into nurturing and guiding his children- Keisha, Kory and Kerwin, imparting wisdom, and instilling values that will endure for generations to come. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, a testament to the love and guidance he provided.
In remembering Valentine pay tribute to his role as a grandfather—a cherished figure whose love and wisdom enriched the lives of his grandchildren in countless ways. As a grandfather, Valentine embodied the essence of familial warmth and guidance, creating cherished memories and imparting invaluable lessons that will endure for a lifetime.
As a father-in-law Valentine cherished connection that extended his love and influence beyond his immediate family. As a father-in-law, Valentine welcomed new members into his family with open arms, embracing them as his own and fostering bonds of love and acceptance that enriched the lives of all involved.
As an elder, Bro Webb was a source of wisdom and guidance for all who sought his counsel. His gentle demeanor and compassionate nature made him approachable to people of all ages, and his words carried weight and significance born of a life richly lived.
As a friend, Valentine was a constant source of support and encouragement. His genuine kindness and generosity endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his presence brought light and laughter to even the darkest of days.
Though Bro Webb may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, his wisdom, and his love. Today, we honor his memory by carrying forward the lessons he taught us and striving to emulate the grace and compassion that defined his life. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
