Obituary of Christine M Forlivio

Christine Marie Forlivio passed away on April 16, 2024, after a brief illness. Christine is survived by her husband, Joseph Forlivio, and 2 children, daughter Johanna and son Nicholas. There is also her son in law Evan Sczerba and her grandchildren Anthony and Michael Forlivio and Grant, Chase, Ellis and Mason Sczerba.

Christine was born on January 1, 1955 to Raymond and Claire Gaidowski. She grew up as an only child.

Christine spent many years as a stay at home mom, PTA member, and actively supporting her children in sports. She worked for many years at Macy’s in Poughkeepsie until she retired to take care of her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, located at 371 Hooker Ave, on Tuesday, April 23rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 

Christine’s family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to New York Second Chance Rescue, as this is where her beloved Doris was adopted from and she had a deep love for rescued dogs and cats.
